1. iPhone (1st Generation) – 2007

One of the earliest pictures of all iPhones is the original iPhone, introduced in 2007, came with a 3.5-inch screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and either 4GB or 8GB of storage. It was Apple’s first big step into the smartphone world, blending a stylish look with innovative features.

It brought together different functions into a single device, blending phone features with an iPod and internet access.

2. iPhone 3G – July 2008

While the iPhone 3G’s internal specs didn’t differ much from the original iPhone, it introduced something game-changing: the App Store!

This model earned its name from the 3G connectivity it offered, which meant you could use the internet without feeling like tossing the iPhone in frustration.

3. iPhone 3GS – June 2009

With the iPhone 3GS, Apple made a big leap by introducing a 32 GB storage option, doubling the space from the original iPhone. This change came right as the App Store began transforming how people used their phones.

With more photos, music, and apps, the 16 GB on the first iPhone quickly proved insufficient. The 3GS also upgraded the camera to 3MP and added video recording.

Plus, it introduced voice control, though Siri, the voice assistant we know today, wouldn’t arrive for a few more years.

4. iPhone 4 – June 2010

The iPhone 4 with its front-facing camera added a twist to the product. Who could have guessed that selfies would become so popular?

This model of iPhone also introduced the Retina display, which made everything on the screen look sharper and clearer. It came with 512 MB of memory, double what the iPhone 3GS had, meaning it could handle more tasks.

By this time, the technology was starting to look more like what we’re used to today, though the maximum storage was still limited to 32 GB.

5. iPhone 4S – October 2011

A major upgrade from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S was the jump in camera quality; from 5MP to an impressive 8MP. That’s a big improvement!

Apple also added a 64 GB storage option, though the memory remained at 512 MB. Plus, you could now record videos in full 1080p HD.

6. iPhone 5 – September 2012

Apple sold an impressive 5 million iPhone 5 units in just its first week! While the camera didn’t change, the memory got a big upgrade to 1 GB.

For the first time, the iPhone’s screen was larger too—previous models had a 3.5-inch display, but the iPhone 5 bumped it up to 4 inches, giving users more room to enjoy their content.

7. iPhone 5s & iPhone 5c – September 2013

The iPhone 5c was designed to be a bit more budget-friendly and came with a plastic body. It was available in four different colours, but other than that, it didn’t have many big changes.

The iPhone 5s, however, brought in some exciting features like Touch ID, which allowed you to unlock your phone with your fingerprint, a dual flash for better photos, and the ability to record slow-motion videos.

8. iPhone 6 & 6 Plus – September 2014

Next on our list of pictures of all iPhones The iPhone 6 was quite similar to the iPhone 5s in terms of its internal features, but the most noticeable upgrade was its bigger screen.

Apple also introduced an even larger version called the iPhone 6 Plus. The Retina display was upgraded to HD quality, and for the first time, you could buy an iPhone with 128 GB of storage.

9. iPhone 6s & 6s Plus – September 2015

The iPhone 6s might have looked just like its predecessor, but under the hood, Apple made some big improvements. One of the biggest upgrades was the camera, jumping from 8MP to 12MP, which made a noticeable difference in picture quality.

The memory also got a boost, doubling from 1GB to 2GB, making the phone faster and better at handling multiple apps.

10. iPhone SE – March 2016

The iPhone SE packed all the great features of the iPhone 6s into a smaller size but without 3D Touch. It was launched as a cheaper alternative, and people liked it for its balance of performance and price.

11. iPhone 7 & 7 Plus – September 2016

Apple decided to stop offering the 16 GB storage option when they released the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Instead, the base models now start at 32 GB of storage and can go up to 256 GB.

The iPhone 7 Plus became more popular than earlier Plus models because of its new dual camera. This feature allowed for much better zooming and let users take amazing photos with a blurred background effect, making the subject stand out more.

12. iPhone 8 & 8 Plus – September 2017

The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus brought wireless charging for the first time, thanks to the glass-back design. The camera was impressive, offering better features for editing and adding filters to our photos, making them even more stunning.

13. iPhone X – November 2017

Skipping the iPhone 9, Apple launched the iPhone X to mark the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone. The iPhone X came with an extra front camera, which allowed us to snap stunning selfies using Portrait mode.

17. iPhone 11 Pro – September 2019

19. iPhone SE (second-generation) – April 2020

The second-generation iPhone SE packed many of the high-end features found in Apple’s priciest models. It came with the powerful A13 Bionic chip, a top-notch camera that includes Portrait mode and Depth Control, high-definition video recording, wireless charging, and a battery that lasts all day.

23. iPhone 12 Pro Max – November 2020

The iPhone 12 Pro Max took everything great about the 12 Pro and made it even better, with a notable increase in size. Plus, it’s powered by the new A15 chip, offering a performance boost over earlier iPhone models.

25. iPhone 13 mini – September 2021

Just like its larger counterparts, the iPhone 13 mini was packed with Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, delivering impressive power in a compact size. It also boasted better battery life, lasting up to an hour and a half longer than the iPhone 12 mini.

26. iPhone 13 Pro – September 2021

The iPhone 13 Pro boasted a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion technology. What set it apart was its Telephoto camera, which was a new addition to its camera system.

28. iPhone SE (third-generation) – March 2022

The 2022 iPhone SE 3 was the latest in its series and stuck with the classic 4.7-inch Retina HD screen and the familiar Home button with Touch ID, much like the original iPhone SE. It also kept the affordable price, making it a great choice for those who love the classic features of the earlier model.

29. iPhone 14 & 14 Plus – September & October 2022

Instead of continuing with the iPhone Mini, Apple reintroduced the Plus model for the iPhone 14, giving it a larger screen that had previously only been available on the Pro and Pro Max versions.
