New iPhone 16 Series will Feature High Battery Capacity

A frequent leaker on Naver called yeux1122 appears to have revealed the main differences between the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max over on the Korean website Naver. Although the majority of the information was previously disclosed in unofficial rumors, there seem to be some new developments regarding the iPhone 16 Pro’s battery.

In comparison to the iPhone 15 series, the iPhone 16 series’ batteries may be larger. There are rumors that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 4,676mAh battery, while the standard iPhone 16 will have a 3,561mAh cell.

“Based on the information I managed to obtain, the new iPhone 16 will have a 3561 mAh battery, while the 16 Plus should have a 4006 mAh battery and the 16 Pro Max, should be equipped with a 4676 mAh battery that is no longer L-shaped due to the redesign of the internal structure that I mentioned,” stated another leaker with the username MajinBuOfficial in a post on X. 

“Right now, I’m unable to find any information about the Pro model.” He further stated. 

IPhone 16 Series Capacity and Efficiency 

According to reports, the iPhone 16’s battery will have a capacity of 3,561 mAh, which is a considerable increase from the 3,349 mAh of the iPhone 15, which was released last year (in 2023). 

On the other hand, the 4,006 mAh battery in the iPhone 16 Plus might be smaller than the 4,383 mAh battery in its predecessor. In the meantime, a larger 4,676 mAh battery unit is expected to be featured in the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Enthusiasts are questioning the decision to possibly reduce the iPhone 16 Plus’s battery capacity. It’s crucial to proceed cautiously when addressing these rumors, though, as they won’t be verified until official declarations or the devices’ release.

AI Features On The New iPhone Series
