1. iPhone (1st Generation) – 2007

One of the earliest pictures of all iPhones is the original iPhone, introduced in 2007, came with a 3.5-inch screen, a 2-megapixel camera, and either 4GB or 8GB of storage. It was Apple’s first big step into the smartphone world, blending a stylish look with innovative features.

It brought together different functions into a single device, blending phone features with an iPod and internet access.

2. iPhone 3G – July 2008

A major upgrade from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 4S was the jump in camera quality; from 5MP to an impressive 8MP. That’s a big improvement!

Apple also added a 64 GB storage option, though the memory remained at 512 MB. Plus, you could now record videos in full 1080p HD.

6. iPhone 5 – September 2012

Apple sold an impressive 5 million iPhone 5 units in just its first week! While the camera didn’t change, the memory got a big upgrade to 1 GB.
