Citisquare Africa Uses Technology to Combat Burnout

Citisquare Africa, a technology-driven company, has announced its decision to tackle the issue of burnout among professionals with tech. 

The world has grappled with the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to a significant increase in burnout cases. 

According to a Deloitte report in 2022, a staggering 77% of the global working population has been affected by burnout, characterized by emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion. 

To mitigate the impact of workplace burnout, Citisquare Africa is organizing the “Colors of Well-Being” event on July 20, 2024, at the Centre Point Tower in Ikoyi, Lagos. 

The event aims to provide tools for combating burnout and enhancing financial stability. 

Keynote and Panel Discussion

The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Tolu Oko-Igiare, the Executive Director of the Institute of Counseling in Nigeria and President of the Association for Counseling, Matchmaking and Psychotherapy of Nigeria

This will be followed by a panel discussion with professionals from various fields, including the Group Executive Director of Omnicom Media Group, the President of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the founder and CEO of the Dew Centre, a clinical nutritionist/consultant, the Group Managing Director of Medaury Hea-theera, and the MD/CEO of UAC Foods Ltd

Practical Solutions and Insights

The event aims to address the challenges professionals face, particularly the silent struggle of burnout, and offer insights on nurturing one’s well-being amidst the demands of modern life. 

Participants will gain practical advice from health professionals and wellness experts, providing concrete tools to manage stress effectively and maintain a balanced lifestyle.
