If you have a mobile phone, this method is for you. It doesn’t matter if you have internet access or not. How to check is highlighted below:

First, open your messaging app on your phone and type a new message. Look for the message body and type in your details in this format; UCE <space> Index Number. For instance, if your Index number is U123456/001, you will type in UCE U123456/001. Once this is done, go to the “‘To”, which will contain the number you will send the message to. Click on the “To” and type in short code 6600. Check the details of your message for errors, and click on send after.

After a few minutes, you will receive a message containing your results for each subject you sat for during your UCE exams. You can only receive a response when the results are out.

Visit the Official Website of the UCE Examination Board

For this method, you need internet access, and stable internet connections. If the conditions are met, click on “Google” and type in the official Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) website.

This will take you to the site where you can find the “Verification of Results” section. Input your index number, then click on the “Submit” button. Clicking on the button will show your results in each subject you sat for. Easy right?
