MultiChoice adjusted its subscription prices for DStv and GOtv users in Nigeria in April 2024, following a court order that stopped them from increasing prices.

Even though the South African-owned company said it would fight the ruling from the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal in Abuja, the changes were reflected on its apps by Sunday, June 16, 2024. After so many back and forths, the new increased price now takes its stand.

With the new rates, DStv Premium subscribers will now pay ₦37,000 instead of ₦29,500, while those on the Compact+ package will pay N25,000 instead of N19,800.

GOtv users on the Super+ package will also continue to pay the new price of ₦15,700, rather than the old price of ₦12,500.
