Android users can now use the ‘Find My Device’ feature on their phones and this is great news for Android users. The new feature is courtesy of Google’s new ‘Find My Device’ network.
This unique feature allows you to find your Android phones even when it is offline. The feature can be enjoyed on all eligible Android phones. What’s more? Your interest in knowing if your Android phone is eligible has led you to the right article. Let’s dive in.
It should be noted that the global launch of the new feature begins in the USA and Canada. According to Google, the new feature is secured and private by design.
The multi-layered protections built into the ‘Find My Device’ network ensure your safety and keep your personal information private. This is done while keeping you in control of the devices connected to the Find My Device network.
Also, Google said in the blog post. “Today, the all-new Find My Device is rolling out to Android devices around the world, starting in the US and Canada.
Additionally, with a new, crowd-sourced network of over a billion Android devices, ‘Find My Device’ can help you find your misplaced devices and everyday items quickly and securely.”
The new feature works with Androids running on 9+. According to an Android blog post, phones with OS 6 and above can also use the Find My Device app.
Additionally, you can also access the app in a web browser on laptops and tablets.
