NNPC has announced new job openings for Nigerians, applications are open for various positions across different departments.
This is one of the biggest recruitment since NNPC became a limited liability company in 2022 and is open to fresh graduates and experienced professionals. Deadline is August 20, 2024.
NNPC announced this on its official social media handle on July 26, 2024.
They are looking to fill positions that cut across all qualifications, from entry level for fresh graduates to supervisory roles for experienced professionals.
This is part of NNPC’s plan to strengthen its workforce and meet the growing demands of the energy sector.

Applicants should visit NNPC careers page for application details.
However, the company warned that it will not be responsible for applications submitted through any other website apart from its official portal.
NNPC also stated that there is no fee for application, it’s a transparent recruitment process.
To apply for NNPC new job openings, candidates must meet educational and professional requirements.
For experienced hires, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences or Finance with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.

Alternatively, candidates with Master’s degree following Second Class Lower Division Bachelor’s degree or HND with Distinction are also eligible.
For graduate trainees, NNPC is looking for individuals who graduated from accredited institutions not earlier than 2019 and have completed their NYSC.
Applicants should not be more than 28 years as of December 31, 2024.
After NNPC announced the new job openings, the company’s application portal went down due to heavy traffic.
NNPC Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, confirmed that technical teams are working to resolve the issues to enable a smooth application.
Despite the challenges, the company said the deadline remains the same.
