According to a statement from Hadiza Umar, NITDA’s Director of Corporate Affairs and External Relations, the innovation challenge will unfold in three distinct stages from September 11 to October 23, 2024.
The grand finale is set to take place at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, where the national winner will be announced.
This initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and NITDA’s broader mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship, ultimately driving economic growth and job creation.

1. State Level: Innovators from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) will compete, with 37 teams advancing to the next round.
2. Regional Level: The successful teams will represent their respective regions across six geopolitical zones, culminating in six regional winners.
3. National Level (Grand Finale): The regional champions will converge in Abuja for the ultimate showdown at the Digital Nigeria Conference, where the national winner will be crowned.
