Multichoice and Disney in a Content Distribution Deal

MultiChoice and Disney have recently extended their distribution agreement for several more years. This means that DStv subscribers in South Africa will continue to enjoy a wide range of Disney channels. This includes ESPN, ESPN2, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney. 

These channels will be available on DStv until 2027. It’s such an exciting opportunity for viewers in Africa to have access to these amazing channels.

How The MultiChoice and Disney Deal Keep Viewers Happy

MultiChoice Group has been in the entertainment and consumer services business for almost 40 years, and they’ve been doing an amazing job, their ecosystem is supported by scalable technologies, which is great for their growth. 

They have a daily reach of up to 100 million people, and they’re expanding their platform to offer a wide range of services. These services include fin-tech, ed-tech, sports betting, interactive entertainment, and household services.

It’s also worth mentioning that their technology division, Irdeto, provides cybersecurity services to protect billions of devices worldwide. They’re definitely making a big impact in the industry.

The Walt Disney Company is an absolutely amazing global family entertainment and media conglomerate. They also have three content groups, Studios, General Entertainment, and Sports, that focus on creating content for various platforms like theaters, TV, and streaming.

The channels will stay accessible on the DStv packages listed below: Disney Junior: Access and Up, Disney Channel: Compact and Up, ESPN: Access and Up, and ESPN2: Compact and Up are the National Geographic programs for families and up.

The Walt Disney Company is doing some amazing things in Africa. They have a fantastic lineup of 24-hour networks that offer a wide range of programming for families, including the popular Disney Channel and Disney Junior. 

They also have captivating factual content on channels like National Geographic and National Geographic Wild and let’s not forget about the exciting sports coverage provided by ESPN and ESPN 2.
