This flagrant disregard for Nigerians’ privacy constitutes a clear violation of the country’s Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) which came into effect in 2019.

However, the sheer volume of personal information available for purchase on AnyVerify.com.ng suggests that millions of Nigerians may be affected. 

This large-scale breach raises serious concerns about the security measures in place to protect Nigerians’ personal data.

With millions of Nigerians’ NINs, BVNs, and driver’s licenses now in the hands of criminals, the risk of identity theft and financial fraud is exceptionally high.
