Infinix Unveils Thinnest Smartphone, Hot 50 Series in Kenya

Infinix Hot 50 launch: Infinix has launched the thinnest smartphone with a 3D Curved display in Kenya. This device is expected to be in the Infinix Hot 50 family and might be the Infinix Hot 50 Pro+. 

The new series has a unique design that sets it apart from other phones.

The phone comes in an impressively slim 7.88mm thick frame with a 6.7-inch IPS LCD sitting on top. Users will be able to enjoy up to 120Hz refresh rate with this device.

As for performance, the device relies on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 4GB and 8GB RAM being the available options.

It has a dynamic bar and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The thinnest smartphone comes powered by a Helio G81 processor with 4/6GB RAM, 8GB extended RAM, and 256GB storage expandable up to 2TB with an external microSD card. It has Android 14 and XOS 14.5 as well.

The Infinix Hot 50 launched also has a 48MP main camera and a complementary 2MP depth sensor. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera.

Both rear and selfie cameras shoot video capped at 1080p. Camera modes include Short Video, Slow motion, AI cam, Portrait, Timelapse, AR shot, and Panorama.

Meanwhile, the Hot 50i comes with very similar specs while still offering something different. While the general design resembles the Hot 50, the Hot 50i is powered by a Helio G81 chipset paired with 4GB RAM that is expandable to 8GB. 

Infinix Hot 50i comes in Sleek Black, Sage Green, and Titanium Gray colors. The phone is available for pre-order at Infinix retail shops, the XPark online site, PhonePlace Kenya, and Rope Telecom.
