Google AI Teacher Time To Give Free Time

Candice Erasmus, education and change management lead at Digicloud Africa, Google’s enablement partner in Africa, highlighted that the AI addresses some of the top challenges teachers across Africa face in classrooms. She said with AI, teachers get to have free time and focus more on teaching their students.

She said, “Classes are getting bigger, workloads are increasing and there aren’t enough teachers to give learners the personalized attention they need. Gemini gives teachers a smart personal assistant that frees up their time so they can focus on teaching.”

Looking Ahead

It is sure that Gemini AI will expand teachers’ capacity and create richer experiences. The new AI can be tagged as a teacher partner.

With the use of the new update, teachers can save time with AI-generated schedules, agendas, and trackers and summarise long email threads and draft replies in Gmail. However, it’s vital to make use of it positively.
