The African American Policy Forum (AAPF), a renowned think tank dedicated to racial justice, gender equality, and human rights, is thrilled to announce its 2024 Summer Fellowship Program.
This fully funded, ten-week remote fellowship, commencing on June 10 and concluding on August 16, 2024, offers a unique and immersive experience for highly motivated individuals seeking to make a difference in the realm of policy analysis, nonprofit operations, and law.
The program is designed to provide fellows with first-hand experience in nonprofit think tank operations, gaining insight into advocacy, research, and policy analysis.
Fellows will be assigned to specific AAPF campaigns and initiatives most aligned with their academic background, interests, and professional experiences.
The ideal candidate for this fellowship possesses exemplary undergraduate, graduate, or post-doc standing, a portfolio of skills-based work, a scholarly understanding of critical race theory and intersectionality, familiarity with Kimberlé Crenshaw’s work, and AAPF’s programs and initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is also required.
Fellows will work full time (35-40 hours per week) and receive a stipend. Due to the remote nature of this opportunity, fellows must have their own computers and internet access.

Fellows assigned to the Digital and Social Media project will support the digital media staff to develop social media strategies, implement outreach, and design promotional campaigns that boost engagement and visibility for the organization.
