Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has reportedly fathered twins with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at his artificial intelligence start-up Neuralink. The court documents filed in April and obtained by Business Insider revealed that the twins were born in November 2021 in Austin.
Musk and Zilis requested to change the children’s names, which was granted in May. Musk has not explicitly addressed the news but tweeted about helping the underpopulation crisis, emphasizing the collapsing birth rate as a significant danger civilization faces.
Zilis, the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, joined the company in May 2017 after working at IBM and Bloomberg Beta.
The twins were born just weeks before Musk’s second child with his ex-girlfriend Grimes. Musk is now a father to nine children in total, including five with his ex-wife Justine Musk, two with Grimes, and two with Zilis.
