Founded by Gbenga Odegbami in 2017, Youverify has broadened its real-time business verification reach to encompass 145 jurisdictions spanning 48 countries.

The founder and CEO, Odegbami, stated that the platform provides real-time verification for individuals, which includes credit history and national identity numbers, in 46 countries.

The company is currently providing services to businesses in just 12 countries. In these countries, Youverify handles 4 million monthly applications for more than 3,500 businesses, serving 1000 active clients.

In less than 48 hours, Youverify verifies physical addresses across Sub-Sahara Africa in collaboration with over 20,000 field verification officers.

This represents a notable rise from the 400 businesses and 5 million application processes per year documented in 2022.

Furthermore, the platform’s ability to authenticate IDs has increased from 400 million to 5 billion individuals and 600 million enterprises in different sectors, including gaming, travel, healthcare, and telecommunications.
