Founded in 2018, Decagon was created by Chika Nwobi, a tech industry investor and venture builder known for his involvement in the development and support of companies such as Jobberman, Autochek, Bamboo, Gokada, and numerous others.
Our program is designed to support promising individuals in launching and advancing their careers in the tech industry, focusing on software engineering and leadership development.
The program consists of:
The core program spans over a period of four (4) months and will be conducted in our Lagos or Benin facilities. This will be followed by a two-month internship.
Decagon boasts a network of more than 1000 former students who are employed at leading technology companies, such as Interswitch, Microsoft, and Flutterwave.
Decagon’s alumni network is a key strength, as DecaDevs form enduring connections that continue to support each other’s growth and success.
In the past six years, we have reviewed 73,000 candidates and admitted only 0.5% of those who demonstrate intelligence, motivation, and a passion for using technology to make a positive impact on the world.
Our Mission is to identify talented individuals, train them to become exceptional software engineers and connect them with international companies seeking to expand their development capabilities.
Decagon Institute offers services geared towards both aspiring software developers and companies seeking tech talent.
