However, the recent deaths of two employees have cast a shadow over this reputation, raising questions about the prioritization of worker safety amidst production demands.
The terrible working conditions of the company have allegedly led to two tragic deaths in the past month.
The company, which is known for producing a wide range of plastic products for various industries, is now under scrutiny for its safety protocols and overall treatment of its workers, raising serious questions about potential safety hazards and working conditions at the company.
The first death occurred on March 12, 2024, when 59-year-old Bamidele Adeyemi Shittu passed away after he was hit by a dispatch rider while on his way back from work in broad daylight.
Many have attributed his death to a psychological trauma which arose as a result of the poor working conditions that amounted to low salary.
The second death occurred on March 14, 2024, when another staff member, 34-year-old Adegbenro Abiola Ibrahim died while on duty.
The worker was not provided with proper safety equipment, leading to their untimely death. He has since been buried according to Muslim rites.

The tragic events have shone a spotlight on VIK Industries Limited’s working conditions.
According to an insider source, the company has been cutting corners on safety measures to meet production targets.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that the company has been neglecting regular maintenance of machinery and equipment, leading to frequent breakdowns and accidents.
Furthermore, the source revealed that workers are often forced to work long hours without proper breaks, leading to fatigue and decreased alertness.
The source also expressed concern about the lack of adequate safety training provided to workers, putting them at risk of accidents and injuries.
This tragedy serves as a stark reminder of the importance of workplace safety.
