Airtel Kenya Expands 5G Coverage Across the Country, Boosting Digital Access

In a significant boost for digital inclusion across Kenya, Airtel Kenya has announced the expansion of its 5G coverage throughout the country. 

This expansion aims to bridge the digital divide and provide Kenyans with improved access to high-speed internet connectivity.

Airtel Kenya has already made substantial progress in its nationwide 5G rollout, with a robust network infrastructure in place. 

To further enhance connectivity, the company plans to launch an additional 1,000 5G sites by the end of 2  bringing the total number of 5G sites to 1,690. 

This aggressive expansion is a direct response to the ever-growing demand for high-speed internet among Kenyan users.

Ashish Malhotra, Managing Director of Airtel Kenya, expressed the company’s motivation behind the network expansion. “We are confident that our ongoing network expansion will enable us to extend connectivity to more communities nationwide, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital revolution.”
