MultiChoice Renews their Distribution Deal with Disney+

Disney and MultiChoice Group have extended their multi-year distribution agreement so that Disney’s portfolio of linear channels—which includes ESPN, ESPN2, National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney—will be available on DStv in South Africa through 2027.

The six 24-hour English and Portuguese-language channels in Africa are run by The Walt Disney Company.

The channels will stay accessible on the DStv packages listed below: Disney Junior: Access and Up, Disney Channel: Compact and Up, ESPN: Access and Up, and ESPN2: Compact and Up are the National Geographic programs for families and up.

The Walt Disney Company runs 24-hour networks in Africa that feature programming for families (Disney Channel and Disney Junior), factual (National Geographic, National Geographic Wild), and sports (ESPN and ESPN 2). The networks are available in both English and Portuguese.
