eMedia has Acquired a 30% Stake in Pristine World Holdings

E.tv owner eMedia has acquired a 30% stake in Pristine World Holdings, a company that specializes in providing visual effects services to the global film and television industries. This important deal was worth R119 million and was made through eMedia Investments. The payment was made to Pristine World’s owner, Convergence IT Services FZCO, which is a company based in the United Arab Emirates.

This acquisition means that eMedia now owns a significant part of Pristine World Holdings. By owning this 30% stake, eMedia gains access to Pristine World’s advanced services like computer-generated imagery (CGI), motion capture, digital compositing, and animation. These services are widely used to create high-quality visual effects in movies, TV shows, and other digital productions.
