YouTube Introduces a Feature that Allows Creators Use Google Gemini to get Video Ideas

Gemini AI has recently been making rounds on the internet, and Youtube would not be left out of this AI goodness. YouTube is now experimenting with an integration with Google Gemini-themed “brainstorm with Gemini” to help creators brainstorm video ideas, titles and thumbnails.

Brainstorm with Gemini To Help Creators With Content Development

This remarkable development was announced through a video on the video giant’s platform. This is going to be a breakthrough for creators who may experience creator’s block.

The host claimed the feature was still in its testing phase and is not fully rolled out yet. YouTube is currently collecting feedback to ensure they are “developing these features thoughtfully.”

The integration will then be improved based on feedback, presumably before it reaches the accounts of all users.

Creators who are taking part in the experiment can go to YouTube Studio and click the Brainstorm with Gemini button while working on their video outline to get started.

New AI Feature To Give YouTube An Edge Over Other Video Platforms

Along with content brainstorming, the Gemini tool includes a reduced version of Google’s chatbot to help creators develop their video content. The tool’s integration with YouTube Studio reflects an increasing trend of leveraging AI to improve creative processes.

A company spokesperson told TechCrunch that the feature is only available to select creators at this stage because it is a small and limited experiment.

This new feature could set YouTube apart from other video platforms, giving creators something unique they can’t get elsewhere.

Google’s smart move to weave its AI into YouTube might lure creators into using the tech giant’s tools instead of popular alternatives like OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
