Zoho, a global technology company, revealed it experienced a 31% growth in Nigeria in 2023, consequently, establishing itself as a key market in Africa.
This announcement was made at Zoholics Nigeria, Zoho’s annual user conference, where the company also revealed a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
For over 27 years, the company has continuously expanded its product offerings and global reach, while staying focused on uplifting local communities by providing affordable and accessible technology.
This unique commitment has allowed it to serve over 100 million users across 150+ countries, with a strong emphasis on customer-centric development and sustainable business practices.
Country Manager, Kehinde Ogundare, highlighted the company’s growth. He said, “As we continue to grow our presence in Africa, our focus is on ensuring that our expansion positively impacts the local economy, communities, and the broader business ecosystem.”
According to Kehinde, the company’s success is deeply rooted in its culture and conviction. For example, he noted that Capital is not just financial valuation or infrastructure.

Zoho’s definition of capital includes people’s know-how and building skills internally, rather than outsourcing core functions.
Additionally, the success of Zoho in Nigeria’s market space is nothing short of the widespread adaptation of its flagship products, which include, Zoho Workplace, One, Books, Desk, and Zoho CRM.
As the company states, these products have contributed significantly to improving customer experience, optimizing business operations, and enhancing efficiency.
The Zoho One, which is described as the “operating system for your business,” allows companies to manage various departments such as sales, human resources, and finance under one platform.
Zoho CRM Plus, Books, and Desk are also widely used by Nigerian businesses, particularly in the IT, financial services, and real estate sectors.
The company’s growth in Nigeria is further reflected by its outstanding customer base, which includes top-tier companies like MTN and leading real estate firms.
Ogundare noted the role of Zoho’s local roots in driving this success, stating, “We believe in being globally connected but locally rooted. This principle has helped us ensure trust and growth in communities like Nigeria.”
