This figure aligns well with current industry trends in South Africa, as highlighted by World Wide Worx’s 2024 Online Retail in South Africa report. 

The report indicates that online sales now represent a noteworthy 6% of the R1.1 trillion total sales volume generated by the South African retail sector in 2023.

The success of Bash isn’t limited to just revenue generation. 

The platform has demonstrably captured the attention of South African consumers. 

Notably, Bash has secured the position of the number one South African fashion and lifestyle app. 

This achievement is further bolstered by a staggering 45% increase in the number of first-time shoppers on the platform. 

This significant rise in new users signifies Bash’s effectiveness in attracting a wider customer base and establishing itself as a preferred online shopping destination.
