Echoing Green, an organization of social innovation, has announced that 44 recipients were selected for the 2024 cohort of the Echoing Green Fellowship.
The newest Fellows would work in 21 countries and is one of the largest and most geographically diverse cohorts within the organization’s history.
Echoing Green Fellowship is a two year program that requires the fellows to work full-time (minimum 35 hours per week) during the fellowship period.
Each selected fellow will be assigned a portfolio manager to offer guidance, assistance and referrals; they will have access to a variety of technical support and pro-bono services, including legal help, marketing advice and executive coaching.
The program provides seed funding to social entrepreneurs launching bold new organizations to generate positive systemic change. Echoing Green Fellows are the innovators, instigators, pioneers, and rebels that reject the status quo and drive positive social change all over the world.
Each Fellow will receive $80,000 in unrestricted funding during the 18-month Fellowship, one element of a multi-faceted support model that includes capital, capacity, and community support.
Additionally, Fellows will join a lifelong community of innovative thinkers, strategic partners, and industry peers.

The 2024 Fellows were selected through Echoing Green’s open call application and participatory grantmaking process, with 2,100 applications received for this cohort.
Echoing Green President Cheryl L. Dorsey said, “From the planet’s hottest year yet, to a record number of armed conflicts, to global threats to democracy, to pullbacks on hard-fought progress on racial equity, these are challenging times.”
“The immediacy with which we need bold solutions for these intractable issues is palpable. Also, these new Fellows are meeting that urgency with a level of brilliance, care, and passion that gives me renewed hope for our collective future.”
He finally added, “Also, when I think about the transformative work they’re leading across 21 countries, I marvel at the opportunity before them and the possibilities of what they can achieve for their communities and for the world.”
