In the age of Fortnight and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, game setups have advanced to match the complexity of the games themselves. Streaming has now reached a new height thanks to a Cluvens Zero Gravity chair designed like a throne.
The new gaming cockpit from the computer peripheral company adds some flair inspired by arachnids to the cyberpunk aesthetic that has come to dominate the industry. The result is a zero-gravity chair that resembles a massive scorpion and doubles as an extravagant computer workstation when you’re not blasting aliens.
The mechanical seat can assume six distinct poses, imitating the arachnids’ predatory stances and offering users dynamic orientations to optimize their performance. The chair is electronically controlled, has heating and massage capabilities, and can recline up to 170 degrees.
The IW-SK Zero-Gravity Esports Gaming Chair and Workstation from Cluvens is equipped with HDMI/DP cables for connecting to monitors and can accommodate three curved 27-inch monitors or an ultra-wide 49-inch monitor.
With a weight of 265 pounds and dimensions of 65 inches in length, 47 inches in width, and 82 inches in height when fully extended, the workstation and chair make a strong impression on others.
The angular rig was designed to resemble an arachnid in every way, including its eight legs, adjustable monitor mount, and armrests. Furthermore, the design serves a purpose. Every component with a scorpion-inspired design serves a specific function to facilitate and enhance gaming.
The chair’s tail tip can be used to mount a super-wide display up to 49 inches or an array of up to five flat screens (between 19 and 32 inches) in place of carrying poison. Even during the most intense gaming marathon, users can reduce stress on their necks and backs by using the tail’s six different “pose” settings, the last of which allows users to lie in a zero-gravity position.
Although the scorpion appears to have somewhat sharp claws, you shouldn’t be concerned about getting hurt because of their safe, rounded corners.
Their primary use is as a stand for keyboards and mice, and they have a slot on the side where the cockpit remote control is conveniently kept. With a single push, the scorpion will assume your preferred position. The chair also has a heating and massaging feature, “so you can enjoy some quality time while you’re making yourself look like the ultimate villain,” as if that wasn’t enough.
The company says that if you need a nap after a long session, the most relaxed setting is also suitable for naps.
On the Cluvens website, there are additional features like LED lighting, a heated backrest, and a massage function, in case you want the chair to be even more difficult to miss. One thing to keep in mind is that the Scorpion will require a large amount of room.
When its tail is fully extended, its dimensions are 82 inches tall, 47 inches wide, and 65 inches long. It weighs a substantial 265 pounds as well.
The IW-SK Zero-Gravity Esports Gaming Chair and Workstation is currently available on Cluvens’ website for $3299 USD.
