Vodacom has launched the Value News Network, or VNN for short, a cool new content platform that’s all about keeping customers up to date with value-packed products, services, and exciting deals. If you’re scrolling through Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, you might have already seen some of the VNN’s short videos showcasing Vodacom’s latest offers.
The whole idea behind VNN is to give people quick, fun videos that highlight everything from mobile data and voice bundles to fibre internet deals. Vodacom wants this to be an easy and entertaining way to catch up on the best offers without having to dig around for information.

Thami Majola, who’s Vodacom South Africa’s executive head for brand marketing and communication, said that the launch of VNN is Vodacom’s way of bringing their offers into a fresh, digital-first style. He mentioned that Vodacom is always trying out new ways to add value to customers’ lives, and VNN is just that, a simple, engaging way to share useful info.

Vodacom designed the Value News Network with its customers front and center. The content is meant to be relevant, easy to understand, and fun to watch. Plus, they keep things fresh by dropping new episodes every week, so there’s always something new to check out.
One big focus for Vodacom is making data more affordable. Through their Just4You platform, they’ve managed to reduce data prices by nearly 50% with personalized offers. They also offer different bundles that work on hourly, daily, or weekly bases, making it easier for people across South Africa to stay connected without breaking the bank.
Recently, Vodacom kicked off their 2025 V-Up Summer campaign, featuring a 20GB data bundle for just R99. This includes 7.5GB of regular data, 7.5GB Night Owl data, and 5GB specifically for YouTube streaming, all valid for 30 days. As a bonus, customers get two months of YouTube Premium free and 100 Vodabucks to use on other services.
Prepaid customers who decide to upgrade or switch to a postpaid deal get even more perks like 100GB of anytime data and another 100GB of Night Owl data spread over 24 months. They also snag 5GB of free YouTube data, a two-month YouTube Premium subscription, plus a free MiFi router to keep them connected on the go.

This means expanding their network and making digital products and services affordable and accessible for everyone. Launching Vodacom’s Value News Network fits perfectly with this mission by delivering value and education in a way that’s easy to enjoy.
So, if you want to stay in the loop with all the latest deals and value-packed offers from Vodacom, VNN is the new spot to check out. Follow them on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube to catch the videos and make the most of what Vodacom has to offer.
