Nokia G10 Review – The Nokia G10 is a new budget-friendly smartphone from HMD Global, the company that now makes Nokia phones.

It’s a successor to the Nokia G90, and it promises long battery life, a clean software experience, and a big screen for a low price.

In this Nokia G10 review, we’ll take a close look at the phone’s design, display, performance, camera, battery life, software, and value for money to see if it lives up to the hype.

Design

The Nokia G10 has a plastic back and a plastic frame, which is typical for a budget phone.

The back is smooth and glossy, and it’s prone to fingerprints.

The phone is available in three colors: Night Blue, Dusk, and Charcoal.

Display

The Nokia G10 has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels.

The display is using IPS technology, which means it offers good viewing angles but not the best contrast levels.

The bezels around the display are a bit thick, especially at the bottom, but that’s to be expected from a budget phone.

Performance

The Nokia G10 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 processor, which is an entry-level chipset.

It’s paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

The performance of the Nokia G10 is adequate for basic tasks such as browsing the web, checking email, and using social media.

However, it can struggle with multitasking and graphically demanding games.

Camera

The Nokia G10 has a triple-lens rear camera system consisting of a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The front-facing camera is 8MP. Image quality from the rear camera is average.

In good lighting conditions, photos can be decent, but they lack detail and sharpness.

In low-light conditions, photos are noisy and blurry.

The front-facing camera is good enough for video calls, but not much else.

Battery Life

One of the biggest selling points of the Nokia G10 is its battery life.

The phone has a large 5050mAh battery, which is one of the biggest batteries you’ll find in a budget smartphone.

In our testing, the Nokia G10 was able to last up to 3 days on a single charge with moderate use.

This is excellent battery life, and it makes the Nokia G10 a great option for users who are looking for a phone that they don’t have to charge every night.

Software

The Nokia G10 runs Android 11 out of the box.

HMD Global promises two years of software updates and three years of security updates.

This is a good software policy for a budget phone, and it means that the Nokia G10 will stay up-to-date with the latest security patches.

Value for Money

From the Nokia G10 review, it is certain that the Nokia G10 is a budget smartphone with a starting price of $199.

For the price, you get a phone with a large display, a long battery life, and a clean software experience.

However, the performance is sluggish, and the camera is average.

So Nokia G10 review compromises do exist.

Should You Buy the Nokia G10?

From the Nokia G10 review, it is obvious that the Nokia G10 smartphone is a good option for users who are looking for a basic smartphone with a long battery life.

If you’re a casual user who mostly uses your phone for browsing the web, checking email, and using social media, then the Nokia G10 will be sufficient for your needs.

However, if you’re a power user who needs a phone for multitasking and gaming, then you’ll want to look elsewhere.

Overall, the Nokia G10 is a decent budget smartphone with a long battery life.

However, there are some compromises to be made in terms of performance and camera quality.
