Ethio Telecom Extends 4G LTE Advanced Network to 114 Towns in the Southern Part of Ethiopia

Ethio Telecom has extended its 4G LTE Advanced network to 114 towns in the southern part of Ethiopia. This major expansion covers two key regions: South-South East and South-East, bringing high-speed internet services to more communities and enhancing access to digital solutions and financial services.

In the South-South East Region, Ethio Telecom upgraded 177 existing network sites and built 58 new ones, enabling 56 towns to enjoy the benefits of advanced 4G LTE connectivity. Towns such as Bale Robe, Dodolla, Sof Omar, and Dinsho are now equipped with faster internet speeds, allowing residents to access improved communication services and digital opportunities.
