Enlit Africa & Water Security Africa 2026: Speaker Applications Now Open
Enlit Africa & Water Security Africa 2026 is getting ready to bring together some of the brightest minds and key players in Africa’s energy and water sectors. The organisers just announced that speaker applications are now open for this exciting event scheduled from 19–21 May 2026, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). If you’re someone deeply involved in the energy or water industries, or if you have insights and innovations to share on how these sectors are transforming, this is your chance to step up and be heard.
This flagship conference is a big deal on the continent, gathering thought leaders, technology experts, regulators, financiers, and innovators all under one roof. Africa’s energy and water landscapes are evolving fast, with everything from modern grid upgrades and sophisticated storage solutions to climate-smart water infrastructure being developed. Enlit Africa & Water Security Africa 2026 aims to showcase the real progress and strategic plans that are driving these changes.

For example, the Strategise Stage will dive into leadership, policy, regulation, and climate finance. There’s an Innovate Stage that showcases cutting-edge technologies and improvements in how services are delivered, including smart grids and digital tools. The Renewable Energy & Storage Hub will focus on alternative energy sources, energy storage like battery systems, and ensuring energy is accessible to all.
New for this edition is the Municipal Forum, which creates space for municipal leaders and city officials to discuss reforms and financial challenges facing local governments. Then, Water Security Africa ties together water concerns with energy and food systems, highlighting cross-sector cooperation and resilience. More technical hubs like the Power & Water Hubs will offer detailed discussions for engineers and planners who want deep dives into the technical side of things.
One of the coolest features is the Project & Investment Network, which will spotlight the biggest project pipelines, blended financing options, and public-private partnerships helping to get projects off the ground across Africa. This is a great place for dealmakers, tech companies, and investors to connect through masterclasses, dedicated deal rooms, and country-specific sessions.
