Detained Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan health update: Tigran Gambaryan’s health has been of concern since he got sick recently.

However, the Nigerian prison officials said Thursday that the senior Binance executive has no serious health challenges, and is doing well in detention.

His family recently issued a statement highlighting the effect of the detention on Tigran’s health. The statement read that Tigran had previously complained of numbness in his foot as well as back pain.

It also highlighted he had double pneumonia and malaria.

The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS), also refuted this claim and emphasized that the executive was hale and healthy. 

The Spokesman of the organization, Umar Abubakar, said, “He is fine with us, and he will continue to be fine with us.”

He further assured that the NCS organization has qualified medical personnel available to attend to any inmate health concerns and that inmates are referred to appropriate hospitals if their conditions cannot be managed within the facility.

“We don’t just dwell only on their information and rehabilitation, but we have a robust health care system that is evident to all. If you check the morbidity rates and the mortality rates in our custodial centers, I would say it’s 0.1 per cent.”

“So for Binance executive, he is not under any serious health condition. He is fine with us, and he will continue to be fine with us.”
