Eligibility Criteria for the Tony Elumelu Foundation Programme

You should be a citizen or legal resident of the 54 African countries.
Your proposed business must be registered and operate within Africa.
You must be at least 18 years old, and there is no upper age limit.
Whether you’re an outstanding entrepreneur with an existing high-growth startup or an aspiring business owner with transformative ideas, you can apply.
Your business should be either a business idea or an early-stage company, between 0 and 3 years old.
Your application should focus on one business only.
They are particularly interested in increasing representation from French, Arabic, and Portuguese speakers, as well as female entrepreneurs.
Your business ideas should not harm the environment, lives, or property. They should be for-profit and original creations by the individuals submitting.

Please note that research institutions, faith-based organizations, value-adding trading companies, government contractors, and businesses located outside of Africa are not eligible.
