Apple has just launched a new version of its iPad Air with M3 Chip, and it’s making waves in the tech world. This latest model is packed with cutting-edge features, including a powerful M3 chip, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, and a revamped Magic Keyboard. This release is part of Apple’s effort to encourage users to upgrade and stay ahead in the competitive tablet market.
The new iPad Air will be available starting March 12, with prices set at $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the larger 13-inch version. According to Bob Borchers, Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, the iPad Air is known for its perfect mix of power, portability, and support for advanced accessories. He emphasized that Apple’s New iPad Air is designed for everyone, from students taking notes to content creators who need high performance on the go.
The standout feature of this Apple’s New iPad Air with M3 Chip is its incredible performance boost. The M3 chip makes it nearly twice as fast as previous models like the M1 and M2 versions and up to 3.5 times faster than older models with the A14 Bionic chip. This means users can create content faster, play graphics-heavy games more smoothly, and enjoy an overall snappier experience.

The M3 chip also brings a more powerful 9-core CPU, which is 35% faster for multitasking compared to the M2 chip. For gamers and creative professionals, the graphics performance is up to four times better than earlier models, delivering realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections for an immersive experience. Additionally, the neural engine in the M3 chip is up to 60% faster for AI tasks, enabling advanced features like smarter photo editing and quicker AI-based workflows.
Another key highlight is the improved Magic Keyboard. While this accessory was available in previous models, it now works even better with the M3 chip. It attaches magnetically to the iPad Air and connects instantly without needing Bluetooth. The keyboard also includes a USB-C port for charging, making it more versatile than ever.
The camera capabilities have also been enhanced thanks to the M3 chip. Users can expect better low-light performance and improved video recording features, ideal for content creators or anyone who loves capturing high-quality photos and videos.

This launch comes at a time when Apple is focusing heavily on integrating AI into its products. The new iPad Air supports Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered tools that help users write emails, edit photos, create emojis, and more. This aligns with Apple’s strategy to compete with rivals like Samsung and Huawei, who are also embedding AI into their devices.
Apple’s financial performance reflects its strong product lineup. In the first quarter of 2025, the company reported record revenue of $124.3 billion, a 4% increase from the previous year. Its services like iCloud and Apple Music contributed significantly to this growth, generating $100 billion in revenue over the past year.
With Apple’s New iPad Air, the company continues to push boundaries in technology while catering to a wide range of users. Whether you’re a student, traveler, or professional creator, this device promises power and versatility like never before.
